Graham is 4 Months Old!

Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted all month, but when I think back on the last few weeks, the first word that comes to mind is SICK! On March 7th, Reed was diagnosed with strep throat and then the next Tuesday after several days of wheezing, Graham was diagnosed with a cloudy ear and we had to start breathing treatments on him. They both were on antibiotics! I am happy to say we are all better. It is probably better that I stayed off the blog because I probably would have just been complaining the whole time. So this month has flown by and our little guy is already a month older! I decided it would be fun this month to put Graham in the same outfit Reed wore for his 4 month pictures! They couldn't be more different!! He is still our little guy, but he is getting stronger and happier every day! This morning both boys slept in until after 8 am. So while Reed was having his morning milk and cartoon time I decided to take Graham's pictures. I put him over in the chair and started snapping. Then I started looking back through them and realized his hair was a mess! I am so use to it I didn't even notice! :) This is the usual with Graham right now....crazy hair and drooling every where! It took me forever to get him to put his hands down out of his mouth too.I tried to brush the hair....I personally like the crazy hair! :) Josh wants me to cut it on the sides so bad and I refuse. He has lost SO much, I don't want to cut what he has left.Graham is finally almost completely in all 3-6 month cloths and still wearing a size 2 diaper. We go for his 4 month check-up in a couple of weeks, but a couple of weeks ago when we went to the doctor Graham weighed 13 lbs 9 ozs, which according to an app I have on my phone is the 39th percentile and at 2 months he was 40th percentile. So it looks like he is growing well! Graham is talking more and more every day and has the best giggle when we can get it out of him. Usually it requires a little tickling! He has also started giving big, slobbery kisses! We got the jumperoo out of the attic this month and he can't quite touch the ground, but with the help of a pillow he can easily get it moving and loves looking at all of the lights and toys on it. He plays on the playmat a lot too and just in the last couple of days has been turning in a complete circle on it. He is in constant motion when he is awake. Graham seems to be days away from rolling over. He is so close! Reed didn't roll over either direction until 5 months, so this much moving already is new for us. My prediction is that Graham will be an early crawler. With him sleeping on his stomach, he now moves from one end of the bed to the other in a matter of minutes. He kicks his legs and almost hops across the bed. Graham is still not the best sleeper! He was consistently going 7 hours between feedings at night and waking only once between for his paci, right at the 4 hour mark every night. Then he got sick and honestly I can't even explain the last couple of weeks. It has been totally different every night some good and some really bad. However, the big news is we started cereal 2 nights ago and although the first night it seemed to upset his stomach the last two nights have been great! He has gone around 7 hours before making a peep both nights! Huge improvement and I am praying it continues.

I have almost this exact same picture of Reed on his 4 month post.

Graham is also very close to grabbing his feet! He stares at them and moves them, but hasn't quite figured out how to grab them! He is also really grabbing out for toys and his pacifier more and more every day. He will grab and hold onto toys on his playmat and he will grab his pacifier and take it out. A couple of times he has been able to get the pacifier back in even.
Minus his sleeping habits, Graham continues to be a very happy, laid back baby. He takes great naps during the day and his such an easy baby all day long. Lately he has been taking 3 naps, 1 to 2 hours each and even longer sometimes. When he is tired he just fusses a little bit and you can either lay him in his crib and he will normally get himself to sleep or lay him on your chest and he will go right to sleep. Graham is the snuggliest little guy I have ever seen. He is happiest curled up against you.Graham loves to watch everything going on around him, from watching tv to watching big brother play. Reed is always the best at getting Graham to smile! It is so fun seeing Graham do new things every day. We are not taking one day for granted!

Reed at 4 months! God has blessed us with two precious boys, opposite in EVERY way!
