Reed's big birthday gift this year was a new swing set! Although it came 2 months late! We had quite a bit of dirt work that needed to be done in the back yard before we could set it up because we wanted to make sure we had a good level spot. So the first weekend of June Josh rented a backhoe and leveled out the dirt and then we laid sod. Finally the time came to start constructing the swing set! I didn't do a good job of documenting the process, but I capture a few shots along the way.
This was only 1/2 of the wood!
Josh's Mom was a lifesaver and she organized all of the hardware into individual bags by step!
Uncle Branden and Papa came over to help!

The finishd product, grass and all! Now we just need to landscape behind it, always a work in progress, right?
It was a lot of hard work, but we have loved having swings and slide right in our backyard!
