On Graham's actual birthday we wanted to do something fun just as a family. With it being cold its hard to find something to do in the middle of the week, but I checked online and saw that Playtime Pizza was open. We haven't been before so we thought it would be perfect and we still had a gift card to use from Reed's birthday.
We also still needed to get Graham's one year pictures taken and with the holiday busyness and his birthday party I decided since Josh and I both had the day off on his birthday we should just go ahead and get them out of the way. So that morning we did cake pictures (another post to come on them) and then we headed out for Playtime pizza. We got lucky because when we pulled up I could tell that they probably weren't open but there was a school bus and a couple of cars. We went on in and they happen to be having a couple of specials events for a school and a team building work crowd on a Wednesday (lucky us)!The employees told us they had changed their hours and had not updated the website. So we got very lucky and basically had the whole place to ourselves it was perfect!
We got there just in time for lunch. Here is the birthday boy enjoying some pizza.
And big brother of course. Can you tell the place was empty?!
Off he goes! Of course Graham wasn't to interested in the games, but he had a blast running around.
Brotherly love...for a split second.
Okay, so the next part of our perfect day was that Reed was given ALL of these tickets! The group of adults that were there weren't to interested in getting any toys and they saw our two running around and ask if we wanted the tickets.
Reed was ecstatic! So nice and so fun!
Here is Daddy loading them all in! I think we were given around 900 tickets! Which was a ton to us.
Reed & Graham loved the cars!
I think he could have stayed in here all day!
I am not sure who enjoyed playing more??
Big brother shooting some hoops!
He loved the gun, but wasn't to happy he couldn't run off with it.
This little ride was hysterical, a mini carousel! Graham just sat there and went up and down!
Ice cream for dessert!
Mommy and the birthday boy!
Before we left, we had to ride the Go-Carts! Reed loves rides and he had never been on Go-Carts. These were on an indoor track so it is smaller. Reed loved it but I couldn't make it go fast enough for his liking! :) I was even making the car spin out around the curves and I could barely get a laugh out of him.
The last part of our perfect day was all the loot the boys got! We ended up with around 1200 tickets. At first Reed wanted the two little Nerf guns he is holding behold but then he decided he wanted the pirate gear but he didn't have enough tickets for both. He was about 300 tickets short, but somehow he walked away with both! The employees were so great! The manager even walked up and gave Graham the ball he is holding, which was a 500 ticket item! It was a great day and the boys had SO much fun!!
