Monday morning we were up bright and early and ready to go, but not before one last belly picture!

Just like with Reed, we were a few minutes late so the nurses were waiting on us when we got there and I was quickly into a gown and in the bed!

Then the fun began! First it took literally about 10 minutes to find Graham's heartbeat with the monitors. He was moving around so I knew he was fine and it had taken my doctor several minutes to find his heartbeat at my last couple of appointments so I didn't get to nervous. Next, it was time to get my IV in. The same nurse that did my IV for Reed's birth came in. I showed her about where my IV was last time and she started. Next, thing I knew she was pulling the needle out and trying again. Then that attempted failed, that is when I started panicking. I have only had two IVs and my veins have never been missed, not fun. A second nurse came in and tried again in the same arm and missed for a third time. By this point it was getting late and we were starting to run behind. So the third nurse, that was to be my nurse through the c-section came in and tried for a fourth time in the side of my left hand. It hurt like nothing I have ever felt before. It was a horrible spot for an IV, but due to the time crunch they said they had to do what they had to do.
Here is a picture of my arms. You can count the red dots on my right arm. Now just imagine my whole right arm black and blue.

Big Brother arrived! He was so excited and very curious about everything that was about to happen!

The last picture just the 3 of us!

Last sister pic!

Over the weekend I had told Reed I was going to have a big boo-boo, so we thought it would be fun to buy Reed a doctor's kit so he could help take care of me. He loved it and one of the nurses even brought him some real doctor stuff to add to his kit.

Playing with Papaw!

Josh and I ready to go! Shortly after this picture I completely broke down! I was so nervous about getting the spinal and I just wanted everything with Graham to be okay. Everything up until this point had gone by so fast and it had only been about an hour and a half and we were about to go to the OR and actually I walked myself there!

After a walk down to the OR and one last kiss from Josh, I was on the table getting all good and numb. Josh came in and the next thing we heard was this little voice screaming away!

A picture showing the clock on the wall and the time he was born 7:44 am. From the time I left my room, until he was born was only 14 minutes and then we were back in the room at exactly 8 am.

Getting cleaned up and still screaming! Josh and I both immediately looked at each other and thought that he looked so different than Reed did when he was born.

Graham weighed 7.7 lbs and was 20 1/2 inches long.

So happy to be holding my second, healthy baby boy!
Reed quickly came running back to our room after he was born and we spent a few minutes just the 4 of us. Reed was so excited to hold Graham!

Our first picture as a family of 4!

Kisses for Baby Graham!
