How is it possible that Graham is already a month old? Time as flown by! He is such a sweet little guy and already spoiled rotten by everyone. We can't imagine life without him!
At birth we thought Graham looked completely different from Reed, but the older he gets the more similarities we can see. They have so many of the same features, but still look different. They have the same nose, mouth and chin for sure. Right now we think they have different eyes, Graham's seem to be more round like mine, but right now they seem to be getting lighter like they may be blue like Reed and Josh. They also have different hair lines and of course Graham has quite a bit more hair than Reed did. The verdict is still out on whether he will lose it or not like Reed did.
Some of the pictures I took are kind of blurry. I am not the best at taking pictures of a squirmy infant. But this one I had to post to show the chubby double chin. He looks so big here, but when you see Reed at this age, Graham looks skinny! Reed was CHUBBY! Graham is getting very strong, holding up his head and bearing some weight on his legs already.
He is wearing size 1 diapers. I moved him up maybe a little early around 2 1/2 weeks, but I learned with Reed how fast they grow and I didn't want to open another box of newborn diapers. Wearing all 0-3 clothes, I have already cleaned out the newborn clothes! Reed was still wearing newborn clothes at this point, although he looked bigger, I think Graham is longer.
Still getting up mostly every 3 to 3 1/2 hours at night. He as had a couple of longer stretches between feedings but he either hasn't been sleeping during the longer stretches or I have been holding him. By this point Reed was only getting up once a night, so I am doing my best to tell myself it won't last forever. The biggest problem right now is he doesn't like to go to sleep after he eats at night. So a lot of times I just have to end up holding him to get any sleep. Graham and I sleep in our bedroom and the couch as become Josh's bed so he can get good rest to go to work. Thankfully I function pretty well on little sleep and its a good thing since I normally get at most 4 to 6 hours of broken sleep....it soon will pass!

During the day he will go longer than 3 hours a lot of the time, but I usually wake him up. I don't go longer than 4 hours during the day. I really think he still has his days and nights mixed up. The last few nights we have purposely kept him up after 8 o'clock or so and I feed him at 10. He has still be staying awake until midnight or so, but going back to sleep after the middle of the night feedings better. So far EVERY day has been different, but we will get to a schedule eventually!
Just starting to see a few smiles in the last couple of days! I caught a couple, but the pictures are blurry!
The biggest difference for me so far is that Graham spits up WAY more than Reed ever did. I literally barely used a burp clothes with Reed and never had to think about packing extra outfits. However, I always have to have burp cloths and extra clothes on hand with Graham. He doesn't really projectile and it is not really a lot, but if you are not ready you might get wet. It also causes quite a bit of fussiness, but I have learned when to make him burp. I now know what the fussy sounds are when he just needs to burp.
Loves bath time. As long as the water is warm he doesn't fuss at all and will just lay there. We have been bathing him ever other night with Reed and Reed loves sharing the bath.
Loves the big Mam paci like his brother. I tried every kind again and he liked the 6 month Mam paci right off the bat like Reed. It took me 10 weeks to discover it with Reed and only 2 with Graham! Becoming more and more alert and staying awake a lot longer during the day. He turns his head towards our voices and will just look at us with his sweet little face.
And of course I had to add a picture with the bear, just like we did with Reed!
Now for the Graham, Reed comparison! As you can see Reed was our little chubby, white guy! Graham has stayed more olive, not sure where he gets that, because Josh and I are as white as they come! :) So fun to see how much they look alike, but still so different (eventually I will learn how to but the pictures side by side maybe)! You can see Reed's complete 1 month post here for more pictures. Two of the most precious faces I have ever seen! Adjusting to two boys has been pretty easy so far and of course Reed being an amazing big brother is really what as made it so easy! He is crazy about Graham and hasn't been jealous for one second. We are so BLESSED and can't wait to see what the future holds for our family of 4!
